Mathematics Program

Our mathematics degree students are given a solid mathematical foundation and time to consider another minor area of study. Our focus is the education of undergraduate students in a Christ-centered environment, and there is abundant opportunity for interaction between students and faculty. Students leave the program prepared to enter a variety of careers or to go on to graduate school.

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics

This program is for students who wish to prepare for graduate study in the mathematical sciences or for a career in applied mathematics in science or industry.

Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education

Students looking to become secondary education math teachers usually pursue the mathematics education emphasis as part of a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.

Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics or Computer Science

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science also offers several Bachelor of Arts degrees.  These degrees are more general in nature and are often for students who may not require advanced studies. Bachelor of Arts degrees are available in computer science, mathematics, computer graphic design and computer information systems.
